Day 1 Results

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-Ohio freshman Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) finished the first two rounds of play at the BGSU Falcon Invitational tied for fourth overall to lead the Bobcat women Monday afternoon.

 

Cahill fired a two-round total of 156 (77-79) on the par 72, 5,983-yard course and is just one shot back of leaders Carley Hrusovsky and Lauren Glew of Bowling Green and Katelynn Mannix of Siena.

 

Cahill is currently tied for first in par 5 scoring at even par (5.0) and tied for third in pars at 23.

 

Sophomore Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) shot a 164 (84-80), while sophomore Lauren Bergman (87-78, Blacklick, Ohio) was just one shot behind her. Senior Katie Stafford (88-82, Phoenix, Az.) and sophomore Megan Curran (89-89, Dublin, Ohio) rounded out the team.


 

 

 

Ohio is third in the overall team standings with a 655 (+79, 336-319) total. Bowling Green holds the team lead at 629 (+53, 315-314).

 

The final round of play will begin Tuesday at 8 a.m.
