Final Results

MUNCIE, Ind.-The Ohio women's golf team finished seventh at the Cardinal Classic on the campus of Ball State Monday afternoon.

 

The Bobcats tallied a 327 in final round action on the par-71, 5,909-yard course for a two-round total of 653 and finished three shots ahead of MAC foe Bowling Green. Ball State won the overall team competition with a total of 620.

Freshman Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) led Ohio with back-to-back rounds of 80 for a 160 total, while sophomore Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) finished at 163 (78-85). Freshman Jordan Fesh (Toledo, Ohio) was two shots behind her (84-81), and senior Katie Stafford (84-86, Phoenix, Az.) and sophomore Lauren Bergman (92-81, Blacklick, Ohio) followed wth a 170 and a 173, respectively.


 

 

 

Butler's Paige McCracken shot a 148 (76-72) to take top individual honors.

 

The squad will be back in action Monday at the Falcon Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.
