Cleveland and Points Northeast (Option 1): Take Interstate 71 South to Columbus. Connect to U.S. Route 33, which can be accessed from either Interstate 270 or I-71. Travel east on Route 33 into Athens. Follow signs to Ohio University and exit at Route 682.
Cleveland and Points Northeast (Option 2): Take Interstate 77 South to Marietta. Take the first exit for Marietta (Exit 6). Travel to State Route 7 South, which combines with Route 50 West near Belpre. Exit at Routes 50 and 32 West to Athens. Follow signs to Ohio University and exit at Route 682.
Central Ohio and Points Northwest: Take the best route to Columbus. Connect to U.S. Route 33, which can be accessed from either Interstate 270 or I-71. Travel east on Route 33 into Athens. Follow signs to Ohio University and exit at Route 682.
Southeast Ohio and Points Southeast: Take Route 33 West to Athens. Follow signs to Ohio University and exit at Route 682.
Washington , D.C. and Maryland: Take Interstate 70 West. Connect with Interstate 68 West to Morgantown, W.Va. Take Interstate 79 South to Clarksburg, W.Va. Take Route 50 West to Athens. Follow signs to Ohio University and exit at Route 682.
