ATHENS, Ohio-The Ohio men's golf team has secured signees Paul Grauer and John Mlynarski IV for next season, Ohio Director of Golf Bob Cooley announced Thursday.

 

Grauer, a native of Dublin, Ohio, was named first-team All-Ohio after finishing in a tie for fifth at the Ohio state tournament. He also claimed first-team All-Ohio Capital Conference honors during his time at Jerome High School with a 73.5 stroke average after finishing first in the OCC Cardinal Nos. 1, 2 and 4 tournaments. Additionally, he was the school's No. 1 golfer based on season average at 74.8. During his tournament season, Grauer racked up 11 top-15 finishes, including a second-place finish at the Ashland Weiss Invitational and third at the Antonick Memorial.


 

 

 

Mlynarski IV, a native of St. Michaels, Md., collected many state and regional honors during his career at Saints Peter and Paul High School. Mlynarski won three events on the 2007 Titleist Junior Tour, corralling the top spot at US Naval Academy, the Rehoboth Beach Junior and the Swanson Memorial Junior. He also won the 2007 Delmarva Amateur Championship, the Dana Reed Memorial Junior and the Harbourtowne Club Championship, where he fired a final round 63 to claim the title. He has also been a varsity captain of his high school squad and was named All-Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association as a sophomore and junior. Additionally, he secured a school-record third place finish at the MIAA Individual Championship.
