ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio Athletics has teamed up with three Mobile-area organizations in the hope of giving to others this holiday season. Fans can purchase tickets to the GMAC Bowl on January 7 and donate them back to athletic department for distribution to the Mobile Special Olympics, Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Mobile YMCA. Tickets are $45.

Fans can buy tickets for donation by either calling the Ohio Athletics ticket office at 800-575-CATS or by visiting www.ohiobobcats.com. Donations will be accepted until 6 p.m. on December 29.

To donate via www.ohiobobcats.com, click on the GMAC Bowl Central icon located on the front page and then choose the link, "Click here to purchase online." Fans then need to choose the, "Buy Tickets" link to the right of the GMAC Bowl sideline tickets option.

After filling out the information and submitting the order, fans will need to click on the 2007 GMAC Bowl link found on the left side of the screen. Click on the small box, designating the tickets to be donated and then choose "Donate selected tickets" from the drop-down menu. Fans need to then click on the "Select Tickets & Continue" option before confirming that the tickets will be donated to the Mobile charities.

The Bobcats enter the GMAC Bowl versus Southern Mississippi with a 9-4 overall record. Ohio won its first MAC East Division championship and is playing in its first bowl game since 1968.
