First Half:

-          Fourteen of Ohio's first 16 points - and all seven field goals - came in the paint.

-          Saint Mary's missed each of its first four free throw attempts.

-          Jerome Tillman registered seven of Ohio's first 16 points.

-          Ohio put together a 9-0 run from 9:26 to 7:54 to take a 20-13 lead.

-          A Justin Orr layup with 1:32 remaining put Ohio ahead 28-20, its largest lead of the game, but SMC tallied the last five points of the period.

 

At the Half: Ohio 28, Saint Mary's 25

-          Williams led all scorers with 10 points ... Patrick Mills paces SMC with nine.

-          Ohio shot 42% (11-of-26) compared to 38% (9-of-24) for SMC.

-          Ohio had a 22-8 advantage in points in the paint.

 

Second Half:

-          SMC scored the first 11 points of the half to take its first lead since 13:11 at 11:48 in the first half, and also its largest lead of the game at that point, 36-28.

-          Ohio didn't get on the board until an Orr lay-up at 17:23.

-          SMC took its first double-digit lead of the game at 15:57 on a deuce by Patrick Mills ... Mills would go on to score seven-straight points for the Gaels.

-          From 1:14 in the first half to 13:30 in the second, SMC outscored Ohio 29-5 to turn a 28-20 deficit into a 49-33 lead.

-          Ohio went from 15:21 to 11:43 between scores.

-          Ohio missed nine of its first 12 shots of the half while SMC started 10-of-14.

-          Down 55-39, Ohio went on a 10-2 run from 7:12 to 3:32 to cut the SMC lead to single digits, 57-49.

 

Final: Saint Mary's 70, Ohio 63

-          Ohio is now 3-3 all-time in the Rainbow Classic, and 10-4 all-time in games outside the U.S. mainland.

-          The Bobcats and Gaels had met twice previously (11/26/82, 12/28/92) with Ohio securing both victories.

-          Williams secured his 33rd career double-double in the contest, and his third in as many games in the Rainbow Classic ... Jerome Tillman registered the 14th of his career.
