Feb. 14, 2008

Recap |  Box Score

--Leon Williams is in sole possession of eighth in Ohio's scoring records with 1,561 points. Walter Luckett (1972-75) is seventh with 1,625. He is also within 42 rebounds (1,008) of tying Gary Trent for second in that category as well.

--The Bobcats have held 10 of their last 12 opponents under 60 points.

--Toledo's three 3-pointers was a season-low for an Ohio opponent.

--Ohio forced Toledo into just a .150 clip (3-20) from the 3-point arc. The last time an Ohio opponent posted a lower percentage was Jan. 11, 2007 when Bowling Green made just 3-24 attempts (.125) in the Convo in a 67-49 Bobcat victory.

--Ohio's 41 field goal attempts were a season-low.

--Ohio was outrebounded (26-33) for the third consecutive game this season in the loss to Toledo. The last time the Bobcats were outboarded in four consecutive games was Jan. 17-28, 2004 (Northern Illinois, Akron, Marshall, Western Michigan). The 26 rebounds also tied a season-low (Holy Cross).

--Ohio's 25 fouls in the loss to Toledo was the most for the program since committing 27 in an 82-65 loss at Kent State on March 5, 2005.

--Interestingly enough, the Bobcats' 24 turnovers against the Rockets was the most for an Ohio squad since committing that same amount against those same Rockets in a 71-68 Ohio win at Savage Hall on Jan. 21, 2006.

--Toledo's 19 free throw makes tied a season-high for an Ohio opponent (Temple, Bucknell), but its 32 free throw attempts were the most since Samford took 33 in an 80-66 Ohio road loss on Nov. 28, 2006.

--The Bobcats failed to score 60 points for the third consecutive game. That last time Ohio went three consecutive games without reaching the 60-point mark was Dec. 13, 20 and 23rd when it tallied 57 against Boston University, 54 against Navy and 51 at Wisconsin.
