YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Ohio women's track and field team wrapped up day one at the MAC Track and Field Indoor Championships last night at Bob Parks Track in Bowen Fieldhouse.

Some highlights included Carime Reinhart (Boscom, Ohio) and Kari Summers (Troy, Ohio) placing third and fourth, respectively, in the 5,000 meters.

Melissa Wiley (Columbus, Ohio) earned a qualifying time in the 60 meter hurdles by finish sixth in the preliminaries with a time of 8.73.

Just a few events had finals on Friday night but no team scores were calculated.

Saturday's action will feature finals in 25 events.
